PB Update

Brrrrrrr. Bundle up. Saturday's run will be cold! Layer, layer, layer. Dick's has hand/foot warmers - a good tool to keep the digits from freezing. A reminder, please check the website or Twitter for last minute changes. If the effective temperature with windchill is below zero or if the course conditions are poor, our run will be cancelled. We will try to have an update at least one hour prior to the start of the run.

If weather cooperates, we will be set up for 10 miles at SMNHS with a start time of 7:00 a.m. We are planning on a group breakfast at 8:45 a.m. at RJ's in Overland Park. Please RSVP by Friday afternoon so we can give RJ's a heads up on the size of our party! We hope you can join us.

Rock the Parkway and Garmin runners, according to the schedule, you should have started speed work. Please contact Coach Amy if you have questions. Group speed sessions begin March 6th!

Join us at Sport+Spine this Sunday 6:45 p.m. Wear comfortable clothing. Join us for functional strength training at 5:30 prior to the clinic. Free for first timers!

Recovery Schedules are UP!

Recovery following a race is a must. Rule of thumb is one day of relative rest for every mile you raced. That doesn't mean lay on the couch for 13-26 days. For details on what do do, go to Members Only > Training Schedules. Your password is listed in your packet. There is a schedule for a half and one for a full. If you are planning more then one race per session and need modifications, please contact Coach Amy at kcrunning@hotmail.com
