Great Job Broadway Bridge Runners
/
Several PB runners ran the the Broadway Bridge half this Sunday benefiting the Special Olympics in Missouri- and I keep hearing about more through the grapevine. Great Work! Mo Fanty earned yet more hardware by placing third in his age division. Woo hoo Mo!
Race Updates
/Michelle Abshire braved the heat and humidity at Virginia Beach this weekend and ran a 2:15 half! Great work! Dr. Jeff had to fend off the 30 somethings as he ran the 3000m run at JCCC track ;) He came in first in his age division. Bravo all! Allison and Greg are preparing to run the Broadway Bridge half this Sunday. Wishing you both great weather and a fun race.
Saturday's Run!
/Sleep in late AND get in a PB run? What? You heard right! We start at 7:00 a.m. this Saturday and will be set up for 10 miles. But that's not all! Predict how long it will take you to finish your planned distance. Closest guess wins a prize. No cheating, so leave your timepieces at home.
If you plan to run further than 10 miles, please get your extra in prior to the run start so our volunteers can pick up their water stops on time and get back to their families.
Dynamic stretching starts at 6:45 a.m. at the CVS at 95th and Nall. Join us for group breakfast at 9:00 a.m. at the Big Biscuit.
Intervals Wednesday!
/It's time for speedy work you crazy devils! Chicago, NY and KC you are up first. Meet at 6:00 p.m. at Roe Park. After a 1 mile warm-up and plyometrics we will begin repeats. Check your schedule for your specific work out. Those not doing speed work yet, you are welcome to join us and run around the park or along the trails.
Run is ON

The course will be set up for 20, but we recommend you consider the weather and shorten your distance today. Those planning 20, you may want to do back to back 10's.
