April 7th Long Run Details

We are meeting at the CVS at 117th and Roe. Please note, this is a different start location then what is in your packets! Start time is 6:30 a.m. We will be set up for (2) 10 mile legs for a total of 20 miles.

Our start location for this Saturday's run will be a changin'. Do NOT go to Ingredient/Town Center AMC. Instead, we will be starting at 117th and Roe CVS, 11729 Roe Ave, Leawood, KS 6621. Map and more details TBA.

Rock the Parkway Expo Volunteers

Personal Best will be manning a shared booth with Sport+Spine at Rock the Parkway's Expo next week and we've had several people volunteer. Thank you! If you've volunteered, please e-mail me a confirmation of the time you were able to help.

If you are available, we'd love to have you share your passion for the group with other runners as they pass through the expo. If you've taken the incredible strength training classes or have received awesome PT services at Sport+Spine, you can share those experiences too.

The expo runs two days:
Thursday April 12th 2-7:00
Friday April 13th 11-7:00

If you have a two hour block of time during any of those periods, contact us at kcrunning@hotmail.com. Of course, there is always a little thank you in it for you too (haven't picked it out yet, but its usually worthwhile).

Congrats to Aaron - Shamrockin' Vegas Half

Luck had nothing' to do with Aaron's awesome race results. He placed 7th in his age division and PR'd with a 1:44:43 half marathon in the Vegas St. Patrick's Day Half. He trained hard all winter and look at that pay off. Way to GO Aaron!

Meet at 6:00 p.m. this Wednesday at Roe Park for intervals. Hospital Hill, Nashville, Garmin, Rock the Parkway and Boston, you are UP! Please check your membership packet for your individual training schedule.

Saturday March 31st Long Run

Go Hawks! Dig out your blue and red for this weekend's run...yes, even if you are a Missouri or K State fan (Jeff!). You gotta route for Kansas.

This is also Raffle weekend. Those who referred a friend to this session are up for a chance at a $100 gift certificate of choice. Good luck!

We are meeting at 6:30 a.m. at the East end of the AMC Theaters Town Center parking lot at 117th (Town Center Dr.) and Nall. We will be running up to 16 miles NW along the Indian Creek trails. Breakfast at Ingredient after the run. Fried dough and omelets - yum!
