PB is Proud to Support the Cure' of Ars 5K

PB is an official supporter of the first annual Cure' of Ars 5K. We are donating two free memberships for the Winter/Spring 2011 run program for their cause!

Run with us on Nov. 6th to support their ministries, help promote Personal Best to area runners and best of all to stuff yourself with pancakes after you run your heart out! PB will be handing out three free entries to the first three interested runners who Contact us.

Note: we do have a 16 mile training run scheduled that day. Consider shortening your scheduled run by 3 miles that morning to be a part! The race starts at 93rd and Mission, very close to where our training run starts at 83rd and Mission.

Kansas City Marathon Aid Station Volunteers

Come support your fellow runners and the KC running community! Join us after you finish your race or after your training run on Saturday morning - remember we have an early start time for PB (5:30 a.m. to accommodate the volunteers).

Please officially register as a volunteer. To do so go to: https://secure.eventunited.com/kcsc/WaddellReedKansasCityMarathonAidStations2010/Volunteer.aspx as soon as possible. Choose aid station, #15, located at 2 miles for the 5K, 12.2 miles for the half marathon and 25.3 miles for the full marathon at 18th and Campbell

Volunteers can bring:
  • leaf rakes for cleaning up cups
  • large trash cans - we'll give you two but more will speed cleanup
  • extra latex gloves
