Well, sometimes it just doesn't work out! Our normal amazing and supportive Broadway Hill cheer gang has other commitments this year. In fact, several of them are actually racing! Good luck to Mo, Amanda, Mike, Melody, Courtney, Amy and Jeff! But do not cry...we will try again next year and be back on our street corner, better than ever! I'm thinking Super Heroes! Until then...

Certified Sports Nutritionist Sally Berry of Body Fuel, Inc. will enlighten us on hydration and nutrition for training and racing to maximize performance, avoid bonking and prevent injuries related to improper nutrition. Highly recommended for first time marathoners and veterans needing a refresher!

Fall Marathons Require Summer Training and RRKC is Here for YOU!

In the world of distance running, the Fall begins in the Summer!

Training for most fall marathons requires ramping up to begin in June! Join RRKC for safe routes (a different one each weekend) and aid stations every 2 miles including ice in the hot summer months. Maps are provided prior to the run on the Events page so you can familiarize yourself and download to phone or Garmin. Printed paper maps are back by popular demand. Registration is now open for Saturday Group Runs June - August. 

Summer speedwork begins August 1st and Fall speedwork begins September 19th. Speedwork will include strengthening, speed drills, stairs, hills, and/or a variety of interval workouts. Registration is now open for both sessions. 

Phoenix Rising Run Specific Strength Class is SOLD OUT. But don't you worry...it will come around again this winter! Bwahahahahahaha.
