Who Needs Training Schedules and Personalized Coaching?

If you are considering a personalized training plan and coaching for a spring race, January is the time to begin. Runners who wait until February or March will be find it is too late and will toe the line insufficiently prepared or worse injured for trying to ramp up too quickly.

All runners can benefit from a personalized training plan and coaching, but those who benefit most are runners that are:

  • new to the sport
  • tackling new training or racing distances
  • racing for a time goal
  • battling injury or have a history of injury
  • needing added motivation and consistency

Coach Amy has many years of experience under her belt as a long distance competitive racer, running coach and physical therapist with a specialty in treating endurance athletes. The number of weeks for your training plan depends on a number of factors. Check out our blog on this topic.
