We are meeting at Brookside Tennis courts Saturday, Oct. 8 at 7:00 a.m. for a 10 mile run and yes, we are running up Sunset! It is going to be a beautiful morning. Breakfast is planned for 9:00 a.m. See you there!
Mo and his mom killed it at the Diabetes race last weekend. Mo took 3rd in his age group for the 10K and Chris took first in her age group for the 5K! Woohoo!
JJ and Tyler work their run buns at RRKC Speed and Strength
Last one runners! Our last speed session is this Tuesday night, October 4th. What's in store? A few loops of hilly challenge and, of course, the band work you love so much. Know your 5K race pace and bring your own water/sport drink. Meet at the base of our hill at 5:30 p.m. Note the time change. We are at the mercy of an earlier sunset. RSVP required: info@roadrunnerskc.com.
"The secret to change is to focus all of your energy, not on fighting the old, but on building the new." - Socrates. I wonder if Socrates knew how hard it is to make changes on a website?
We are focusing positive energy into some exciting changes for RRKC. We will have new offerings that will keep us running together all year for less those wanting specialization will have a menu of options. Stay tuned! Of course the website will look a little different to accommodate these changes. In the meantime, if you can't find what you are looking for on the website, e-mail us at info@roadrunnerskc.com. We are happy to help.
