PB runners, support staff and cheering section - you ROCK!

Congratulations to all the PB runners who ran RTP half and 10K this past Saturday. Woohoo!

Thank you PB cheering section! Mike C. said, "I want to express my great appreciation to all the current and former members of Personal Best who came out to support [RTP]. It was so encouraging to see members of the team cheering us on. Personal Best Rocks!"

A big thanks to the PB support staff who filled in for me at the race and the group run so that I could go to the funeral - David M., Doug, Laurie, Cris and Greg, you guys are the best.

Thank you for your Donations to Christy

At the beginning of the season, many of you contributed money to a fund for Christy, an area runner who was hit by a car while running.

Paul Beiker of Olathe Running Club sent the following to all of us at Personal Best, "Thank you for your generous donation to Christy's family. [Christy] is out of the hospital and in outpatient rehabilitation. She is making a remarkable recovery. Again, thank you and your club for your generosity."

Well done PB!

The group run starts at 6:30 a.m. at Waids in PV. We will be set up for 16 miles (another 8m loop). Coach Amy will be out of town for a funeral. Doug will be in charge of the run and David will be flagging and driving the course as usual.

Rah, rah, rah! Join our cheering section at Rock the Parkway this Saturday after the group run. Meet just north of the 10m aid station of the RTP course. This is on the west side of Ward Pkwy, just South of the Meyer circle and 61st St.

Greg S. will be on location with a PB yard sign. Click here for a map of the course.

We expect PB runners to pass by between 8:30 and 9:30 a.m. Stay as long as you can to support all your running buddies!
