Weather Alert: Caution with Speedwork Session Tonight

The effective temperature is currently 100 degrees. The forecast for 6 p.m. is 97 degrees with thunderstorms. Our policy is to cancel if the effective temperature is 100 degrees or if lightening is in the area.

At this time, the interval session is still on, however schedules may be modified and the session may be shortened due to the high temperatures or lightening.

Please bring extra fluids with you and listen to your body. Be on the look out for symptoms of hyperthermia and dehydration: nausea, headache, feeling cold and clammy and excessive sweating. Live to run another day. No one workout is worth the risk.
