Our long run this weekend starts at the Brookside tennis courts at 7:00 a.m. We will be set up for 10 miles and are planning on a group breakfast at 9:00 a.m. at the Avenue Bistro. RSVP for breakfast firstname.lastname@example.org by Friday morning so we can give them a heads up.
Your goal this weekend is to reproduce race conditions as much as possible. Limit your time at the water stop - do not linger. If you are expecting to be running in heat, try to reproduce those conditions with a few more layers then usual.
All those with a time goal for upcoming races, should plan to run the mid 50% at race pace. RTP this is your last "longish" training run. Next weekend/week you will be on your taper.
