Personal Best is hosting free summer runs for the entire KC metro area in June and July!
Interested runners need to contact our free run coordinator, Doug Stinson to be included on the e-mail list: firstname.lastname@example.org. This will assure you are notified of any changes/cancellations.
PB's summer runs include a variety of 10-mile courses starting from Sport+Spine at 105th and Marty in Overland Park on these dates:
June 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th
July 11th, 18th and 25th
Runs will include a map, flagged course and aid stations every 2 miles. Start time is 7:00 AM. Those needing to run more than 10 miles should arrive early/stay late to get in the extra distance and bring their own water for that portion of their run.
Before the start of the PB fall session in August, marathoners should be running 14 miles comfortably and ready to step it up to 16 miles. Those running half marathons should be running 4-6 miles comfortably. Need a little help with your summer training plan?
