Training schedules and coaching are not provided as a part of the FREE summer run program. Starting in June, experienced fall marathoners should be targeting 10-mile long runs and half marathoners, 5 miles. For a more detailed weekly summer run training schedule, please contact Coach Amy.
If you have reovered from your spring races and are healthy, your total weekly mileage may increase up to but no more than 10% per week and your long run mileage may increase up to, but no more than two miles at a time. Beginning runners, those planning for their first half or full marathon and those who are battling injury should contact Coach Amy before starting summer runs.
