It's not too late!
It's hard to believe we are closing in on the last month of our Spring training session! We are winding down a bit now as many of you have finished your races or are tapering, but this is no time to slack! If you are planning on racing Fargo, Cows or Hospital Hill, you still have time to take advantage of strength training and speed work. This coming week, hill repeats are on the agenda for Tuesday night. Strength training classes have resumed their normal schedule on Sunday, Wednesday and Friday.
They are to be expected even with the best of training. We want to keep them short lived by attacking them early. A few cancellations have popped up next week on Coach Amy's schedule, if you need to get in for treatment. Call the office ASAP and we will get you back on the road.
The Garmin marathon is this weekend and we wish all our PB runners a joyful and successful race! Also this weekend is our Saturday, long run. We will be meeting at the Shawnee Mission Park Marina at 7:00 AM and heading out onto the trails for 10 miles. PB podium updates are thick with finishers from RTP to Boston and we will update soon. Also look for upcoming posts about our end of season party and summer 2014 runs.
