Summer is a great time to start a strength training program to improve your running efficiency and prevent injury. Many runners suffer from weak butt syndrome and weak core muscles. Are you moving in your thoracic spine and loading your hip flexors and obliques? It is rare to find strengthening classes that are created especially for runners and taught by a licensed physical therapist and running coach.
